Facility End Use: Facade mesh system installed on the exterior of the Bellagio parking structure
Completion Date: October 2006

Project Details: The 10 story, 5,160 space employee parking garage features a Cambridge Architectural Facade mesh system, outfitting the structure in 10 ft. wide by varying lengths of 20 ft. to 80 ft. stainless steel metal fabric panels, integrated with a structural steel tube support.
The functional, woven metal fabric draped facility features 16,000 sq. ft. of architectural mesh in the Stripe pattern, which has a 54% open area and allows daylight and fresh air to pass through the structure. At night, the gleaming mesh is illuminated with exterior lighting, drawing attention to Bellagio signage from Route 15.
Cambridge’s Eclipse tension attachment hardware was used to install the Stripe product. The Eclipse hardware is appropriate for lengths of metal fabric held in tension up to 100 feet.
Completion of the Bellagio parking structure marks the beginning of construction on Project CityCenter, a one-of-a-kind $7 billion Las Vegas development that will include a casino, resort, residential high-rise complex, parks, convention and meeting space and more, functioning as an urban metropolis upon final completion in 2009.
