Dallas Area Rapid Transit
Dallas, Texas | Pedestrian Bridge Cladding
A mix of two mesh patterns – a more open fabric on the upper section and slight tighter weave on the lower section – enclose open areas of the covered pedestrian bridge. The mesh provides fall protection for passengers and shields the commuter rail line from falling objects. The material provides adequate ventilation and unobstructed views across the well-lit structure for added security.
"Our original design intent was to find a durable material that looks good 24/7. Mesh was an easy choice."
