The parking garage serves shoppers visiting the more than 200 retailers and restaurants within the Westfield Galleria. Woven metal fabric created a veil over the pre-cast structure to give it a clean and sophisticated style that mirrors the city’s new convention center constructed nearby. The mesh covers but does not completely close off the open areas of the garage.
"The city was putting in a new conference center, so they requested that the parking garage be artistically masked. Cambridge’s mesh was a great option because it dressed up the new building, added to its architectural interest and maximized airflow and visibility."
