Renovation of iconic skyscraper adds dappled brushed aluminum elevator doors

Empire State Building | Manhattan, New York | Brushed Aluminum Elevator Cab Doors

As part of an interior renovation, metal mesh was installed to modernize and clad the doors on the iconic building’s 68 elevators leading to offices and observation level floors. The dappled brushed aluminum offers a distinct design, and the surface stands up to the tower’s heavy elevator passenger traffic.
