Black box theater uses mesh to mark entrance and absorb interior light

The entrance sign to the black box Theater Lab – home to the ongoing “Shear Madness” production – appears on metal fabric welded to angled panels to accommodate the curvature of the space. Additional mesh, hung on a custom track system, is installed on the theater’s rear wall as a visual light terminus.
